Creator’s Mela, organized by the US Embassy, concluded on Saturday at the Aloft Hotel, Kathmandu.

The two-day event was designed to sharpen and develop the skills of current and aspiring Nepali digital creators and influencers, helping them launch and grow their online presence or businesses.

According to the embassy, the first day of the event saw over 500 visitors and featured more than 10 workshops and discussion programs. The second day attracted even more attendees and also hosted more than 10 workshops and discussion programs, along with musical and fashion events.

On the second day, actor Priyanka Karki shared the ups and downs of her career and her experience with social media, offering tips on creating content for social media. Additionally, the event featured sessions with former Miss Nepal Shrinkhala Khatiwada, film director Nischal Basnet, and documentary filmmaker Shree Gurung. Makeup artist Divinish conducted a workshop on body painting.

The event also witnessed live performances by singers Trishala Gurung and Wangden Sherpa. Actor Aayushman Deshraj Joshi conducted a workshop on creating Instagram stories and reels.

The event featured interactive programs on food vlogging, mental health, and privacy.
