Today marks the second day of the Nepali Congress special general convention. A closed session has begun at Bhrikutimandap in Kathmandu.
During the closed session, General Secretary Bishwo Prakash Sharma is presenting the organisational report he prepared. He has proposed forming committees with separate representation from two age groups. According to the proposal, the Central Committee would include 20 members under the age of 30 and 20 members from the 30 to 40 age group.
Similarly, Sharma has proposed representation of 10 members under 30 and 10 members from the 30 to 40 age group in the provincial committees.
He has also reiterated his previous proposals regarding the positions of president, prime minister, ministers, and lawmakers.
