The Jawalakhel Group of Industries (JGI) has officially announced the grand opening of Nepal’s first Cinnabon, marking the popular American bakery’s entry into the country’s dynamic food and beverage scene.
Set to open its doors on May 28 in Sanepa, Lalitpur, Cinnabon Nepal offers a range of world-famous cinnamon rolls, baked goods, and specialty beverages as per a press statement released by JGI. The move reflects JGI’s strategic expansion into premium international food offerings tailored to Nepali consumers.
“This is more than just an opening — it’s the beginning of a unique culinary journey for Nepal,” stated Shrida Shah, Brand Manager of Cinnabon Nepal. She emphasised the brand’s commitment to understanding local tastes and creating a personalized experience for every visitor.
JGI, known for its strong market presence and business acumen, plans to expand the Cinnabon brand across major urban centers, including Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Butwal.
It adds that the launch of Cinnabon Nepal signals a shift in consumer demand toward high-quality, global dining experiences that still resonate with local preferences.
