Kathmandu, September 29
Two people have been arrested in Kathmandu with 650 litres of homemade liquor and 4,000 litres of raw fermented liquid used to make it.
Those arrested are Madan Tamang and Samir Tamang, both residents of Pathari Shanishchare, Morang.
They were arrested by a team deployed from Thankot Police Circle and the Inland Revenue Office, Kalanki.
Police said the pair were illegally producing homemade liquor in a shed at Machhegaun, Chandragiri Municipality-9, Kathmandu.
Police said they have been sent to the Inland Revenue Office, Kalanki, for further action.
