AITM College signs partnership agreement with UHI UK

Lalitpur, December 6

The British University, University of the Highlands and Islands (UHI), and Asian Institute of Technology and Management (AITM) College Lalitpur have collaborated to offer UHI’s undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, including BA (Hons) Hospitality Management, BA (Hons) Business Management, BSc (Hons) Computing, and MBA at AITM College.

A three-member delegation from UHI visited AITM College to finalise the bilateral agreement. UHI representatives Craig Lennox, Jill Elder, and Helen Doig actively engaged in observations, discussions, and consultations with AITM college team members from November 25 to December 1.

According to the Chief Executive Officer of AITM College, Roshan Rathi, “AITM College has created an opportunity for Nepali students to study various courses of UHI, a famous British university located in Scotland, in the country with similar facilities to what is offered in the UK, at a minimum fee. The next thing is that UHI is also a relatively young university. Its subjects are a bit more relevant and practical for our students. The fee structure is reasonable for Nepalese students”.

The collaboration between UHI and AITM College will facilitate exchange programmes involving students and faculty from both institutions, according to Rathi. AITM College has a track record of providing international-level courses for over a decade.
