In the Chabahil area, sales are permitted at AC Complex, Ganeshsthan Vegetable Market and in front of KL Tower.

The list also includes Kalimati Banquet and Chaukhel in Kalimati, the public squares in front of Ward No. 5 Office and Ganesh Temple in Handigaun, Koirala Smart in Samakhushi, SalesBerry in Maharajgunj, Gongabu, Chappal Karkhana and Big Mart in Baluwatar.

The metropolitan city has also designated the premises of Tebahal Temple, Lagan, Jaisidewal and Bhrikutimandap as authorised flower-selling locations.

The city said the designated sites were selected in coordination with its Environment Department to ensure that flowers and garlands produced by Nepali farmers receive a proper market and that consumers can buy them conveniently.

In a notice, the Metropolitan Police Force warned that any plastic flowers, garlands or decorative materials that fail to meet quality standards and are sold in violation of the notice will be confiscated.
