One person died and the driver was injured when an auto-rickshaw met with an accident at Upper Mokhola in Bagchaur Municipality-10, Salyan.
The auto-rickshaw, registration number Ra 1 Ha 6126, was travelling from Mokhola Bazaar towards Upper Mokhola on Thursday morning when it went out of control and fell about 55 metres below the road.
Police said Resham Raut, 35, of Sirbali in Chhatreshwari Rural Municipality-5, died at the scene.
The driver, Nirmal Kanwar Magar, 34, was injured and taken to Dang for treatment.
Police said further investigation into the incident is underway.
