Kathmandu, October 8
Voting to elect the new working committee of the Nepali Congress under its 15th General Convention has yet to begin, despite being scheduled to start at 2:30pm on Thursday.
Security has been tightened at the two voting venues, Rastriya Sabha Griha and Khula Manch, ahead of the voting.
Journalists have been barred from entering both venues, while Congress general convention representatives have also not been allowed inside so far.
A large number of police personnel have been deployed around the voting venues as preparations continue for the voting process.
