Arghakhanchi has recorded the most rainfall in the past 24 hours.
According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, Arghakhanchi had received very heavy rain by the time this report was prepared. Simalpani in Arghakhanchi recorded 100.4 mm.
Rainfall of 100 to 200 mm in 24 hours is considered very heavy, while more than 200 mm is considered extremely heavy. Rainfall of 50 to 100 mm is considered heavy, and 10 to 50 mm is classed as moderate.
Heavy rain was also recorded in Chitwan, Rolpa, Bardiya, Kailali, Banke, Kaski and Gorkha. According to the division, Gobindabasti in Chitwan recorded 83 mm and Narayani 56 mm. Rolpa recorded 77 mm. In Bardiya, the Aurahi Khola station recorded 71.2 mm and Daulatpur 63.8 mm. Dhangadhi Airport in Kailali recorded 64.4 mm. In Kaski, Malepatan recorded 67 mm and the Pokhara station 53 mm. Khajura in Banke recorded 58.4 mm, and Gorkha recorded 52 mm.
