Kathmandu, September 29
The Nepali Congress Central Election Committee has announced a revised schedule for the party’s 15th General Convention.
According to the revised schedule released through a press statement on Tuesday, the opening ceremony of the general convention will be held on October 4.
The opening ceremony will begin at 2 pm at the Khula Manch, according to the statement issued by committee member-secretary Raju Katuwal.
The closed-door session and other programmes will be held on October 5 and 6.
The election process has been scheduled for October 7 and 8.
“Other programmes related to the election process and the detailed schedule will be published later,” the statement said.
The Election Committee has asked the party to complete regional conventions by October 1 and submit the list of delegates to the general convention.
Registration of general convention delegates has been scheduled for October 2 and 3.
