Kathmandu, September 25
Chitwan district administration has reopened traffic between Narayangadh and Pokhara.
The route toward Pokhara was cleared after a landslide that had blocked the Narayangadh–Muglin road section was removed. Vehicles have been moving from Narayangadh toward Pokhara since midday today.
However, travel between Narayangadh and Kathmandu remains suspended. Movement via Muglin toward Kathmandu is still blocked due to landslides at several points along the Dhading section of the Prithvi Highway.
Police say seven landslide sites have been reported along the Dhading section of the highway due to the rain. According to Dhading Police, debris has already been cleared at some locations, while clearing work continues at others.
