Kathmandu, September 23
Gold and silver prices edged up slightly on Wednesday. According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, gold rose by Rs 100 per tola and silver by Rs 40 per tola on the day.
The federation has fixed today’s gold price at Rs 302,300 per tola, up from Rs 302,200 the previous day. Similarly, silver rose by Rs 40 per tola to Rs 4,815.
The previous day’s silver price was Rs 4,775. Gold and silver prices have remained within a narrow range of fluctuation over the past few days. Last Friday, gold was priced at Rs 303,100 per tola and silver at Rs 4,447.
