6 bodies recovered from Upper Trishuli 3A tunnel
Six bodies have been recovered from a tunnel of the Upper Trishuli 3A Hydropower Project. According to the Nepal Army Headquarters, six bodies were found entangled in the reinforcement steel mesh installed for concreting the tunnel. Security personnel and representatives of the project have been deployed inside the tunnel and are working at the site.
CIB raids ANFA headquarters in Lalitpur
The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police has raided the headquarters of the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) in Satdobato, Lalitpur. CIB SSP and spokesperson Anupam Shamsher JBR confirmed on Friday that the bureau conducted the raid at the ANFA headquarters.
Prachanda says NCP preparing for new movement against government

New York tops 2026 global cities index, Kathmandu ranks 687th
New York has been ranked the world’s best city in the 2026 Global Cities Index published by Oxford Economics. London ranks second and Paris third. According to Oxford Economics, the overall ranking was prepared by evaluating 1,000 major cities worldwide on five criteria: economics, human capital, quality of life, environment and governance.
