Official sales of Apple’s new iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max began in India today.
According to BBC Hindi, crowds had begun gathering outside mobile stores in cities such as Delhi, Noida, Mumbai, and Bengaluru from the night before, as customers lined up to buy the new phones.
Long lines were seen outside the official Apple Store at DLF Mall of India in Noida from the previous night. In the rush to be among the first to get their hands on the new iPhone, people had been standing in line outside the mall and store since 2 am the night before.
Customers who had travelled from various states across the country to receive the first delivery had been standing in line since 6 am. At the DLF Mall store, some customers were even found to have come all the way from Punjab to buy the new phone.
How much does it cost?
In the Indian market, the iPhone 18 Pro’s 256GB model is priced at Rs 165,000, while the 512GB model costs Rs 189,900.
Similarly, the 1TB model will cost Rs 239,900, and the 2TB model will cost Rs 314,900.
