Kathmandu, September 13
Machhapuchhre Bank has decided to distribute a 6 percent dividend to its shareholders. The decision was made at the 564th meeting of the bank’s board of directors, held on Friday afternoon, declaring a dividend of 6 percent (including tax) on paid-up capital.
Of this, the bank has decided to propose distributing 3 percent as bonus shares and 3 percent as a cash dividend. The bank stated the dividend will be distributed once it is approved by Nepal Rastra Bank and passed by the upcoming annual general meeting.
With the aim of delivering simple and convenient banking services to customers across every sector and class, the bank currently serves more than 1.8 million customers through 157 branches, 12 extension counters, 88 branchless banking service points, and 193 ATMs across all seven provinces of the country.
