Kathmandu, August 26
The Rasuwa flood has swept away three suspension bridges connecting Gorkha with neighbouring districts, according to police.
The floodwaters of the Trishuli River washed away the suspension bridge linking Dhawadighat in Gandaki Rural Municipality-8, Gorkha, with Charoundi in Dhading.
Another bridge connecting Buttar in Gandaki-7, Gorkha, with Chaukitar in Dhading was also swept away.
Police said the suspension bridge connecting Silingtar in Shahid Lakhan Rural Municipality-3, Gorkha, with Kurintar in Chitwan was completely destroyed.
