Kathmandu, August 24

Kathmandu is set to host a special devotional music event, Bhajan Sanjh, on the occasion of Krishna Janmashtami. The event will take place on September 4 from 5:00 PM onwards at Hotel Ananda Pashupati near Tilganga.

Billed as an intimate devotional music platform, Bhajan Sanjh brings together bhakti music, art, and shared cultural experiences in a warm, contemporary concert setting. The evening will feature live bhajan performances, mantra chanting (mantra ucharan), Pushpa Holi, a Kathak dance performance by Nritya Nidhi Dance Studio, Gopi Dots, and interactive stalls, alongside performances by Naman Band and rising artist Durlav.

According to Ravi Pandey, co-founder and organiser of Bhajan Sanjh, the initiative was originally launched through Yagyashala and has since grown into a dedicated platform for intimate devotional music experiences. The organizers say the event aims to bring people together for Krishna Janmashtami through devotion, music, art, and a shared cultural experience.

Registration is required for entry.
