The release date for actress Niruta Singh’s comeback film Saarthi has been set. The film will open nationwide on November 27.
This marks Niruta’s return to acting after seven years, with her last film, Dal Bhat Tarkari, having been released in 2019.
The film, directed by Kumar Gajurel, previously released its first look, stirring curiosity about the story. With the release date now announced, promotion is set to pick up pace.
Produced under the banner of Kimbhe Production and Dhiraj Film Infinity, with Tara Thapa as presenter, the film was shot in Gurja, a village in the northern Himalayan region of Myagdi.
The film reunites the pair from the once-hit film Darpan Chhaya, with Uttam Pradhan also starring. Other cast members include Mukunda Shrestha, Rajendra KC, Samrant Thapa, Giri Bishwakarma, Gayatri Joshi, Kalpana Thapa, Madan Thapa, Milan Khadka, Rashmi Gurung, Tulsi Rai, Asha Bishwakarma, Santosh Dhakal, Biplav Khadka, Sagar Kandel, Sudip Nepal, and Dhiren Karki.
Radip Shrestha and Pradip Rayamajhi are the investors, while Bek Bahadur Bishwakarma and Nabin Shrestha serve as executive producers.
