Kathmandu, August 19
The government has decided to increase the monthly pay of early childhood development (ECD) facilitators, school employees and school support staff.
Government spokesperson and Education Minister Sasmit Pokharel said the decision was made by the Cabinet meeting held on Wednesday.
According to Pokharel, the federal government will increase the monthly remuneration currently provided to each of the three categories by Rs 5,000.
The Cabinet decision states that the remuneration provided by the federal government to early childhood development facilitators, school employees and school support staff will be increased by Rs 5,000 per month.
The decision is expected to provide additional financial support to personnel working in early childhood development and basic school services across the country.
