Indian singer Navjot Ahuja in Kathmandu for musical performance

Popular Indian singer Navjot Ahuja has arrived in Nepal for a musical performance. He will perform his songs this evening at an event organised at a club in the capital.

There, he will engage the audience with several songs, including “Tere Liye Mandir Jaaun, Tere Naam Ka Diya Jalaaun.”

“Tere Liye Mandir Jaaun, Tere Naam Ka Diya Jalaaun” is the biggest hit of Ahuja’s musical career, featured on his album “Khat.” Besides this, dozens of his other songs are popular, including “Tu Hi Hoon,” “Khud Se Mohabbat,” “Intezaar,” “Mere Ho Tum,” and “Chale Gaye.”

Speaking to journalists after landing at Kathmandu airport on Tuesday evening, he said he was very excited to perform.

“This is my first time visiting Nepal. I like Nepal. I like Nepali customs and culture,” he said. “I’m very excited to perform for the Nepali audience.”

Expressing his fondness for Nepali music, he said he also listens to Nepali songs. He also said he would be willing to sing if any Nepali musician offered him a song. He will stay in Nepal for three days, during which he will visit religious and tourist sites in Kathmandu.
