Kathmandu, August 9
Singer Laisel Rai has released her debut Nepali music video, “Dhukdhuki”, on Saturday.
Directed by Bhishma Joshi and Yayavarism, the video stars Roshni Karki, Mahesh Tripathi, and Avon Raj Upreti. The song features music by composer Ujjwal Saagar, lyrics by Harka Saud, and mixing and mastering by Manzil Bikram K.C. Audio engineering was handled by Turban Beats in Punjab.
Seventeen-year-old Rai was the 1st Runner-Up on Superstar Singer 2024, India’s reality singing show, and is a scholar at the Shankar Mahadevan Music Academy. She has previously released several original Hindi and Punjabi songs.
