Kathmandu, August 2
Deepmala Dhakal has won the Miss Nepal 2026 title. She was crowned Miss Nepal World at the grand finale held on Saturday at The Plaza, Pulchowk, Lalitpur.
Arya Nishaant was named Miss Nepal International, and Kashis Subba was named Miss Nepal Cosmo. Miss Cosmo Yolina Lindquist was among those on the judging panel. The Hidden Treasure organised this year’s Miss Nepal pageant.
Dhakal also holds the title Miss Nepal Hong Kong International 2026. She works as an investment strategist at BlackRock, the globally renowned investment management firm.
She is also a black belt taekwondo athlete, runway model, international event host, and marathon runner.
Dhakal became the youngest-ever elected member in the history of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA).
She additionally serves as a goodwill ambassador for Nepal Cancer Hospital.
She has said her goal is to take her cancer-awareness campaign to an international level through the Miss World platform.
Her mother had also taken part in the first-ever Miss Nepal pageant, held in 1994.
