Kathmandu, June 19
Garima Bikas Bank Limited has implemented the 3D Secure e-commerce payment system in collaboration with Nepal Clearing House Limited (NCHL).
According to a press statement released by Garima Bikas Bank Limited, this feature enables debit and credit cardholders to verify online transactions using a One-Time Password (OTP) sent to their registered mobile number, reducing risks of unauthorised use.
Customers can activate the e-commerce feature by visiting any branch of the bank. After activation, they can use their cards for online payments with an added layer of verification.
The bank has also launched an Equated Monthly Installment (EMI) facility for its credit card users. This service allows cardholders to divide large payments into monthly installments under a “Buy Now, Pay Later” model.
With these additions, Garima Bikas Bank expands its digital banking services to support online transactions and flexible credit use.
