Gangster Sujan Paudel alias Ramesh Bahun has been handed down a sentence of 10 years in jail and a fine of Rs 75,000 for his involvement in two cases related to drug peddling and illegal use of arms and ammunition.
A bench of Judge Nawa Raj Dahal at Kathmandu District Court issued the verdict on Tuesday, according to the court’s staffer Ananda Shrestha. Paudel was arrested in possession of heroin, a pistol and 10 rounds of bullets in Kalanki of Kathmandu on June 24, 2014.
