Kathmandu, March 8
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has likened Free Madhesh leader CK Raut with NCP Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, who led a decade-long insurgency against the government.
Prime Minister Oli, who was speaking at a porgramme organised to mark the end of Raut’s movement, said that Raut made the right decision at the right time. “This is a kind of ability, I have only seen in Prachanda,” said Prime Minister Oli. The PM said that it was Prachanda who transformed his party to take part in mainstream politics and entered into a merger with erstwhile UML.
“CK Raut is an intellectual and a scientist. I believe that he can now contribute towards nation building,” he added.
