Kathmandu, August 12
Chairman of Parliament’s Public Accounts Committee Janardan Sharma has tendered his resignation from the post to give way for an opposition MP to take up the role.
Maoist leader Sharma presented his resignation to a meeting of the committee on Friday.
According to parliamentary convention a member of the opposition holds the post of Chairman on the committee. However, sources said Prabhakar resigned after being offered ministership.
