Ahead of Nepal tour, Nambia defeated by Afghanistan in Intercontinental Cup

Afghanistan have defeated Namibia by an innings and 36 runs in the third day of their four-day Intercontinental Cup match played in Greater Noida, India.

During the first innings, Namibia won the toss, and decided to bat. They posted 172 runs in their first innings while Afghanistan made 334 runs in reply.

In their second innings, Namibia were bowled out for 126 runs in the 35th over with a day to spare.

Afghanistan’s spinners Mohammad Nabi and Zahir Khan claimed five wickets each. Namibia’s HN Ya France put up some resistance but he could only muster 46 runs in the first innings and 40 in the second.

Namibia are coming to Nepal on Thursday to play their ICC World Cricket League matches against Nepal.
