Banke, July 6
Police arrested four people with tiger hide and bones in Kohalpur of Banke.
The people were arrested in a joint operation conducted by the Lumbini Province Investigation Bureau and the Area Police Office in Kohalpur. They were found in possession of a piece of tiger hide and six kgs of tiger bones.
Those arrested are Prabin Kumar KC, Sunil Chunara, Lokendra Shahi and Karana Bahadur Rokaya.
According to the forest officer at the Division Office Banke, Ajit Kumar Karna, the hide and bones are of an adult female tiger.
Further investigations are ongoing.
