Design

The design of the CFMOTO 250SR is very similar to its elder sibling, the CFMOTO 450SR with some major changes. The 450SR is much bulkier and gives a heavy proper sports bike feel with the wings on the front just on the side of the headlights. The 250SR however has some significant changes in terms of styling including the removal of the wings on the sides. The front headlights are sleek along with the DRLs which complement the look.

The visor on the CFMOTO 250SR is clean which also helps in the aerodynamics at higher speeds. The mirrors are just on the visors’ side, complementing the overall look. Coming to the sides, the LED indicators are placed on the lower middle half of the fairing. It is available in two colour options, Nebula Black and Nebula White. The graphics on the Nebula Black colour are majorly highlighted by red whereas on the Nebula White colour is teal giving a colour contrast on both the options.

The split seats on the bike are comfortable for both the rider and the pillion. The tank being fairly huge makes the rider sporty while riding. The underbelly exhaust gives a bassy exhaust note. The rear of the CFMOTO 250SR also has an LED setup with the LED taillight and the indicators.

The digital instrument cluster on the CFMOTO 250SR is bright and modern with different styles. The instrument cluster displays speed, rpm, time, trip meter and distance travelled. The bike’s fuel tank can carry 12 litres of fuel at a time, allowing longer rides.

Performance

A single-cylinder powers the CFMOTO 250SR, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine with a displacement of 249cc. It produces a maximum power of 27.4 horsepower at 9750 rpm and a maximum torque of 22 Nm at 7250 rpm providing enough acceleration and responsiveness on the road.

Its engine features a bore x stroke of 72mm x 61.2mm, contributing to its efficient power delivery and smooth performance which is paired with a wet, multi-disc, slipper clutch transmission for seamless gear changes.

The CFMOTO 250SR is constructed with a tubular steel chassis. The bike rides on aluminium alloy wheels of 17-inch. The CFMOTO 250SR is equipped with quality suspension components, including 37mm upside-down shocks at the front and a central mono-shock at the rear. The braking system consists of a 292mm single disc with an opposed 4-piston calliper at the front and a 220mm single disc with a single-piston calliper at the rear with ABS on both wheels.
