Nagmani International, the official dealer of Asus laptops in Nepal have launched the 2024 Asus Zenbook Duo in Nepal. The laptop was first unveiled at the CES 2024. Asus before the Dual screen design developed a few exciting laptops like the ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo (UX581) and the ASUS ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 (GX550). The Zenbook Pro Duo was the first laptop to have a dual screen in a laptop. The Pro Duo had a secondary screen just above the keyboard which got a lot of attention and popularity for its unique functionality.
The Zenbook series from Asus is quite famous in different price categories and the features the options provide. Previously, Asus experimented with the foldable Zenbook 17 Fold OLED, which garnered attention but had major problems, including durability and portability. Asus has overcome the problem with separate screens which can be used in 5 different modes in the 2024 Zenbook Duo.

Design and Display
The Asus Zenbook Duo 2024 brings a completely new design which is the first of a kind with dual screens. The laptop features a secondary screen in the keyboard and the mousepad part. There is also a magnetic keyboard and mousepad part that can be detached and used wirelessly.
The laptop features five different modes including; dual-screen mode with Bluetooth keyboard where users can work efficiently by referencing one screen while using the other, reducing the need to switch tabs. The lower screen becomes a full-size keyboard in dual-screen mode with a virtual keyboard. Sharing mode lets users keep the Zenbook Duo flat for easy viewing during meetings. Laptop mode uses the Bluetooth keyboard and touchpad on the lower display, providing a traditional laptop experience with a 14-inch screen. In desktop mode, users can display productivity apps on one screen and reference materials on the other, which is ideal for programmers, researchers, editors, and writers.
The Asus Zenbook Duo 2024 features an intuitive design and smartphone-like gesture control. Users can tap with six fingers to open the full-size virtual keyboard and touchpad, swipe down with six fingers to access utilities like handwriting, Quick Key, Control Panel, and Number Key, tap with three fingers to summon the virtual touchpad, swipe outward with five fingers to expand a window across both screens and drag an app to the App Switcher icon to choose its default screen.
The Asus Zenbook Duo 2024 has a stunning 14-inch primary OLED display with a 3K (2880 x 1800) resolution, 16:10 aspect ratio and 120Hz refresh rate. This primary screen features a 0.2ms response time, 400 nits of standard brightness and peaks at 500 nits with HDR, offering vibrant visuals with a 100 per cent DCI-P3 colour gamut, 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio, and VESA CERTIFIED Display HDR True Black 500. The display ensures stunning colour accuracy and sharpness with support for 1.07 billion colours, PANTONE validation and a glossy finish. Additionally, it reduces harmful blue light by 70 per cent, supports touch input and works seamlessly with a stylus, covering 91 per cent of the screen-to-body ratio.
The secondary display of the Zenbook Duo 2024 is also a 14-inch OLED panel, maintaining the primary screen’s exceptional colour quality and brightness with 500 nits HDR peak brightness. However, it features a 1920 x 1200 resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. Like the primary display, the secondary screen supports touch input and stylus use, making it perfect for multitasking and creative work.
The magnetic Bluetooth keyboard of the Asus Zenbook Duo 2024 features 1.4mm key travel, ensuring a comfortable and responsive typing experience. Additionally, it includes a precision touchpad for accurate and smooth navigation.

The Asus Zenbook Duo 2024 is a performance powerhouse with an Intel® Core™ Ultra 9 Processor 185H at 2.3 GHz, paired with Intel® Arc™ Graphics for graphics performance. The Intel® AI Boost NPU enhances the neural processing capabilities, optimizing AI-driven tasks efficiently. It runs on Windows 11 Home and it offers a modern user experience with safety and security. It is available in one memory option which is 32GB of LPDDR5 RAM and a 1TB M.2 NVMe™ PCIe® 4.0 Performance SSD which ensures fast and reliable multitasking and storage solutions.

The Asus Zenbook Duo 2024 is equipped with a 75WHrs, 4S1P, 4-cell Li-ion battery, and includes a 65W AC Adapter for fast and efficient charging. For connectivity, it supports Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax) with a dual-band 2×2 configuration and Bluetooth 5.3.
