Kathmandu, December 29
Indian Ambassador to Nepal, Manjeev Singh Puri, on Friday morning held a meeting with Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba.
The duo held discussions over contemporary political issues including the new government formation process, a source informed of the discussion says.
Puri had arrived at the PM’s residence in Baluwatar while the Nepali Congress was holding its Central Executive Committee meeting. He had stayed there for around 30 minutes.
Therefore, the political fraternity has noted the meeting significantly as Deuba is preparing to leave the premiership soon.
Meanwhile, the Congress meeting is still underway in Baluwatar.
