Radha: Wrath of the Maeju

Kathmandu, December 8

Radha: Wrath of the Maeju, a fantasy fiction set in Patan by Rishi Amatya, is being launched on December 9 at the Patan Museum, Lalitpur.

Samrat Upadhyay, author of the award-winning book Arresting God in Kathmandu, will speak about the book, followed by a reading by Amatya.

Radha: Wrath of the Maeju is Rishi Amatya’s debut novel. The novel is the result of a manuscript submitted for the Safu Writing Fellowship (SWF) 2020.

Safu Writing Fellowship is a six-month-long mentorship program organised by Quixote’s Cove which provides support to emerging writers to develop their ideas into books. During the fellowship writers are paired with an editor to help them through the writing process.

The book is published by Safu, a publishing imprint of Quixote’s Cove. Quixote’s Cove is dedicated to promoting literature, arts, and culture in and from Nepal.

Radha: Wrath of the Maeju will be available during the book launch, and in major bookstores around the city. The book launch is open to the public and starts at 2.30 pm.

The book is priced at Rs 600.
