Dhanusha district court clears 5,200-plus cases last year

Janakpurdham, August 6

The Dhanusha district court cleared a total of 5,216 cases in the fiscal year 2082/83. Information Officer of the district court, Hem Kumar Mahato, shared that the court registered 5,844 new cases and received 4,231 pending cases from previous years in the fiscal year 2082/83.

He added that there are 5,059 unresolved cases after clearing 5,216 cases in the fiscal year 2082/83 out of a total of 10,075 cases. The court had settled 5,701 cases in the previous fiscal year. Information Officer Mahato claimed that an automated hearing system has been managed in the court, ensuring a prompt, effective and transparent justice delivery system.
