Kathmandu, November 3
Charles Whiteley, the newly appointed European Union (EU) Ambassador to Nepal, has paid a courtesy call on Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal.
During the meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at Singha Durbar, Foreign Minister Khanal congratulated Ambassador Whiteley on his appointment and wished him a successful and pleasant tenure.
The two exchanged views on various issues of mutual interest.
They also discussed ways to further strengthen relations between Nepal and the EU, and to expand and deepen cooperation and collaboration in the days ahead.
