Kathmandu, October 27
In their first match of the third edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL), Chitwan Rhinos have fielded England players in all four overseas slots.
In the match under way at the TU Cricket Ground against Biratnagar Kings, Chitwan have fielded England players in all four overseas players, including captain Ravi Bopara.
Ravi had already arrived in Nepal. The other players came to Nepal overnight after the Pakistani players were unable to play. Chitwan had earlier signed three Pakistani players.
However, because of NOC issues, the Pakistani players Usama Mir, Hasan Ali and Mohammad Nawaz were not able to play in the NPL. Chitwan then hurriedly brought in additional overseas players. They signed Dawid Malan, who played last season, along with Dan Mousley and Tom Taylor.
