Kathmandu, October 18
The Tatopani border point connecting Nepal with China will remain open for three days, from October 18 to 20, according to the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies.
The ministry said only cargo vehicles will be allowed to pass through the border point during the temporary reopening.
Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Deepak Kumar Sah said the Chinese side agreed to temporarily reopen the crossing in response to a request from Nepal.
The move is expected to facilitate Nepal-China trade and help ensure the smooth supply of goods during the festive season.
