Kathmandu, October 16
The price of gold increased by Rs 1,700 per tola on Friday, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.
The federation has set the price of gold at Rs 290,100 per tola for Friday, up from Rs 288,400 on Thursday.
Gold prices had declined steadily from Sunday through Thursday before rising on Friday. Gold was traded at Rs 296,500 per tola on Sunday.
Meanwhile, the price of silver increased by Rs 115 per tola on Friday.
Silver is being traded at Rs 4,150 per tola, compared with Rs 4,035 on Thursday.
