China tops Asian Games with 341 medals, Nepal limited to two bronzes

China finished first at the 20th Asian Games in Japan with 341 medals.

All events at the Games, which began on Asoj 3, concluded on Sunday. China maintained its dominance with 169 gold, 89 silver and 83 bronze medals.

Host Japan finished second with 39 gold, 95 silver and 91 bronze medals. South Korea was third with 150 medals, including 39 gold, and India fourth with 85 medals, including 21 gold.

Nepal was limited to two bronze medals. The Nepali women’s kabaddi team won bronze for the second consecutive time, and karateka Tenzing Sherpa also won a medal.

Nepal won only two bronze medals, with 135 Nepali athletes taking part.
