Shankar Tiwari will run for general secretary of the Nepali Congress. Tiwari, a young analyst, announced his candidacy at a press conference on Sunday morning.
“Congress is, at its core, an idea. This is to defend Congress’s idea. Democracy cannot survive without questions. I am running with an ideological outlook.”
Tiwari has been selected as a delegate to the convention from Nawalpur-2. He was a candidate for central member at the 14th General Convention. He supports a special general convention.
