The film ‘Gauthali’ has completed 75 days in theatres. Released on July 17, it entered its 76th day on Thursday.
Producer Suman Giri said the film has collected Rs 260 million so far. It has sold 943,331 tickets in that time.
According to the Film Development Board’s Cinepah data released last Monday, ‘Gauthali’ had grossed Rs 259,584,640 as of September 27.
Already the second-highest-grossing film in the Nepali film industry, ‘Gauthali’ trails only ‘Purna Bahadur Ko Sarangi’.
Directed by Dr Kapil Rijal, the film stars Arun Chhetri, Simran Khadka, Madan Krishna Shrestha, Prakash Ghimire, Loonibhat Tuladhar, Rabindra Jha, Ishwari Baral, Sanjog Rasaili, Sita Devi Timilsina and Laxminath Timilsina, among others.
Produced under the banners of Bhola Rijal Production and Suman Giri Production, the film has Sarala Rijal as executive producer. Suman Giri and Dr Kapil Rijal are the producers.
