Hetauda, September 15
Four people were killed when an electric vehicle (EV) travelling from Hetauda to Kathmandu met with an accident in Salle Sukoura of Indrasarowar Rural Municipality-2, Makwanpur.
According to the Area Police Office, Bhimphedi, four of the eight people travelling in the vehicle died at the scene, while the remaining four were rescued.
One of those rescued was taken to Hetauda Hospital, while the others were taken towards Kathmandu, the Area Police Office said.
The accident occurred at around 2 pm on Tuesday. The vehicle reportedly fell about 500 metres down a steep slope from the road.
Further details of the accident, including the identities of those killed and injured, have yet to be released.
