Spider-Man earns 156.3 million in Nepal, 2 billion dollars worldwide

Spider-Man: Brand New Day is setting one record after another, both in Nepal and around the world. It has earned more than 2 billion dollars worldwide through its third weekend.

Variety magazine reported that the Tom Holland-starrer film earned 785 million dollars from North America and 1.23 billion dollars from international markets.

Its total earnings stand at 2.022 billion dollars. With this haul, Spider-Man: Brand New Day has become the eighth highest-grossing film of all time. It is the first Spider-Man film to cross the 2-billion-dollar mark.

In Nepal too, its earnings show no signs of slowing. As of Monday afternoon, the film’s gross earnings in Nepal exceed 156.3 million rupees. With this, the film has become the fifth highest-grossing foreign film in Nepal to date.
