Kathmandu, August 5
The prices of gold and silver have gone up in the local market today. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of hallmark gold increased by Rs 4,200 per tola (11.66 grammes) today and has reached Rs 288,000. On Tuesday, the price of gold was Rs 283,800 per tola.
Similarly, the price of silver has increased by Rs 95 per tola to reach Rs 4,475. The previous day, silver was traded at Rs 4,380 per tola. According to international media, the price of gold is USD 4,127 per ounce, and the price of silver is USD 60 per ounce in the international market today.
