Epidemic Sound and Veel have announced a new API partnership aimed at simplifying music licensing and enhancing video production workflows for brands and content creators worldwide.
According to a press statement released by Epidemic Sound, the partnership integrates Epidemic Sound’s full catalogue of music and sound effects directly into Veel, an AI-powered CreatorOps platform that connects brands with creators. The integration enables users to access licensed audio content within the platform and incorporate it into video productions that can be distributed and monetised across social media channels globally.
According to the companies, the collaboration is designed to remove the complexities often associated with music licensing. Epidemic Sound’s catalogue, which is fully owned by the company, provides creators and brands with usage rights that allow them to publish content across digital platforms without concerns over copyright claims or takedown notices.
Rasmus Thofte, Senior Vice President of B2B at Epidemic Sound, said the partnership reflects increasing demand for soundtracking solutions that combine creative quality, legal safety and seamless technical integration. He noted that simplifying access to licensed music allows creators to focus more on producing content.
Veel Founder and Chief Executive Officer Dileep Dhakal described the integration as transformative for customers, providing access to a world-class audio catalogue while eliminating legal uncertainty around content production.
Veel currently serves more than 550,000 creators across 121 countries and works with over 450 brands, helping them create, manage and distribute user-generated video content at scale. The company said the partnership will further strengthen its mission to support the growing global creator economy.
