Bagmati, May 31
A truck driver died in a road accident occurred at Baguwa river of Makwanpur along the Kanti Highway last night.
Spokesperson at District Police Office, Makwanpur, Madhav Kafle, informed that the truck ferrying construction materials of the Bagmati Hydropower Project, Lalitpur, from Hetauda met with an accident where driver Dal Bahadur Bartaula lost his life.
Bartaula, 30, was a resident of Hetauda Sub-metropolis-3. The truck had plunged into the river. Lifeless driver Bartuala was found stuck to his seat in the vehicle, while his helper managed to escape the tragedy by jumping out of the cabin.
