Kathmandu, April 15
An Indian national has been arrested at Tribhuvan International Airport with eight kilograms of marijuana.
The arrested individual has been identified as 22-year-old Akshay Kumar, an Indian citizen. He was apprehended on Tuesday night by a joint team from the Airport Security Office and the Narcotics Control Bureau.
A total of 8.560 kg of marijuana was recovered from him. He had arrived in Kathmandu from Bangkok via a Thai Airways flight. The Narcotics Control Bureau has initiated a further investigation into the case.
