Kathmandu, December 19
The price of gold fell by Rs 2,000 per tola on Friday.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, gold has been priced at Rs 258,400 per tola for the day. The previous day, gold was traded at Rs 260,400 per tola. On Monday, the price of gold reached a record high of Rs 260,700 per tola.
Silver prices also declined by Rs 75 per tola. Silver, which was traded at Rs 4,085 per tola on the previous day, has dropped to Rs 4,005 per tola today, the Federation said. The previous day’s silver price was the highest on record.
