Kathmandu, November 14
The data center of the Department of Transport Management has encountered problems once again. As a result, the partially resumed service for new driving license applications, which had restarted on November 2, has been suspended.
The department announced that the system for applying for electronic driving licenses and new licenses has been shut down from today until further notice. Services related to driving licenses had been disrupted after significant damage to the department following the protests on September 8 and 9.
According to the department, although the data center had been partially operational since November 2, it has now been obstructed again due to technical issues.
