The price of gold declined by Rs 2,100 per tola on Wednesday.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Associations, hallmark gold is being traded at Rs 244,300 per tola today, down from Rs 246,400 the previous day.
Gold had reached a record high of Rs 258,000 per tola on October 17.
Meanwhile, silver prices have increased by Rs 5 per tola, reaching Rs 3,175, up from Rs 3,170 on Tuesday. Silver had hit a record high of Rs 3,350 per tola on October 17.
