NEPSE soars 3.21%, hits 2066 points

On Monday, the NEPSE index of the stock market increased by 3.21 points. After the increase of that number, NEPSE has remained at 2066 points. The transaction amount has also increased along with NEPSE. Rs 4.37 billion was traded on the previous day, today Rs 5.7 billion was traded.

While the price of 142 companies increased, 94 decreased while 11 remained stable. The finance index increased the most by 2.11 per cent (52 points). Similarly, development banks increased by 1.56 per cent (63 points) and microfinance groups by 1.26 per cent (61 points). The Hydropower group increased by 4.9 points.

Sectors like Banking decreased by 3 points, hotel and tourism by 11, life insurance by 18, product by 14, non-life insurance by 9 and business group decreased by 12 points. The price of Nepal Finance and Ganapati Microfinance increased by 10 per cent. The price of Makar Jitumaya increased by 7.2 per cent, Shivshree Hydropower by 6.9 per cent, Aramb Chautari Laguvitta by 6.3 per cent and Sindhu Bikas Bank by 6.1 per cent.

The price of Buddhabhumi Hydro decreased by 7 per cent, Samaj Laguvitta by 3.7 per cent, Aparhewakhola by 2.8 per cent, and Panchthar Power by 2.8 per cent. Based on the transaction amount, Mera Microfinance, NRN Infrastructure, Pokhara Finance, Mountain Energy and Manjushree Finance were ahead respectively.
